KS1 Timetable

Introduction

Although many of the home educators I have spoken to have not been using a timetable at all, (especially in the UK), whem we were new at the business of home educating, we felt it might be useful to have a timetable as a guide.

I must admit that it was in part inspired by an American book called “Managers of Their Homes”, which advocated getting up at 5:30am, and I have never been quite so earnest! We never actually managed to keep to it rigidly.

The following, therefore, was our original intended timetable for infant primary school (ages 5 – 7).

For details of our pre-school timetable, take a look at our pre-school pages.

You are most welcome to use or amend this timetable for your own use.

If you, like me, find it difficult to follow a time-table, and feel that the day is hopelessly lost if I don’t manage to fit things in at their appointed time, help is at hand! Take a look at the “routine” we’ve been developing (which includes where to fit the house-work in!)
